How to use it
- Uses encodeURIComponent rules for a single URL component.
- Decoding does not turn plus signs into spaces; form encoding uses different rules.
- Malformed percent escapes and invalid UTF-8 bytes produce an error.
Can I encode an entire URL?
This tool targets one parameter; a whole URL would also have its slashes and colon encoded.
Why does + stay unchanged?
URI component decoding differs from application/x-www-form-urlencoded.
